Terms of Service

1Eligibility

• You must be 18 years of age or older to use the Service. The Service is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. By using the Service you represent that you are at least 18 years old.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• The Service is available only in regions where the underlying translation technology (Google's Gemini API) is available. We may restrict or suspend access from unsupported regions.
• You may not use the Service if you are located in a territory subject to a comprehensive trade embargo, or if you are a person with whom U.S. persons are prohibited from dealing under applicable export-control or sanctions laws.

2The Service

WireLang™ Live captures audio that is already playing on your device and produces a real-time spoken translation using Google's Gemini API ("Google AI Services"). Translations are generated by artificial intelligence. The Service can be used in two modes:

• Credits mode: translation sessions run on WireLang's own Google API access and are metered against your credit balance or subscription.
• Bring Your Own Key (BYO) mode: translation sessions run on a Google AI Studio API key that you create and provide, under your own agreement with Google.

3Your Relationship with Google (BYO Mode)

When you use BYO mode, you access Google AI Services directly under your own Google account, and your use is governed by the Gemini API Additional Terms of Service and the Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy. In particular, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Free-tier data use: if your key belongs to a Google Cloud project without an active billing account ("free tier" / Unpaid Services), Google may use the content you submit — including the audio and text of your translation sessions — and the generated responses to improve and develop its products and machine-learning technologies, and human reviewers may read and annotate that content. Do not submit sensitive, confidential, or personal information through a free-tier key.
• Paid tier: if your key belongs to a billing-enabled Google Cloud project, Google does not use your prompts or responses to improve its products, per Google's paid-services data terms.
• European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland: Google requires that the Gemini API be accessed as a paid service in these regions. If you are located in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you may only use BYO mode with a key from a billing-enabled Google Cloud project. Free-tier keys may not be used in these regions.
• You are responsible for your Google account, your API key, and any charges Google bills you. WireLang adds no markup to and takes no responsibility for Google's pricing, quotas, or availability.
• Service quality and availability: in BYO mode your sessions connect to Google AI Services using your own key, so session quality, capacity, and uptime depend on Google and on the tier of your key. Free-tier keys in particular are subject to Google's rate limiting and lower capacity priority, and Google-side errors (such as HTTP 429, 500, 503, or 504) can cause interruptions, gaps, or degraded audio in live translation. These conditions originate with Google, are outside WireLang's control, and are not a defect in the Service. We do not warrant that BYO mode will perform equivalently to Credits mode.

4Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes, and in accordance with Google's Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy, which applies to all translation sessions. Without limiting that policy, you must not:

• Use the Service to generate, translate, or facilitate illegal content or activity, including content that exploits or harms minors, promotes violent extremism, or facilitates self-harm;
• Use the Service to harass, intimidate, defraud, impersonate, or deceive others, or to generate spam, malware, or phishing content;
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or degrade any safety filter, abuse protection, metering, rate limit, or quota mechanism of the Service or of Google AI Services;
• Attempt to reverse engineer, extract, or replicate the underlying models or any component of the Service or of Google AI Services, or use them to develop competing machine-learning models;
• Capture or translate audio that you do not have the legal right to capture. You are solely responsible for complying with the recording, wiretap, and consent laws that apply to you — including when translating calls or meetings involving other participants;
• Use the Service in clinical practice or to provide medical advice, or in any safety-critical setting;
• Resell, sublicense, or share your account, session tokens, or metered access with third parties;
• Misrepresent AI-generated translations or summaries as verbatim human-produced translation in contexts where that distinction matters (e.g., certified or sworn translation).

5AI-Generated Content

• Translations, transcripts, and summaries produced by the Service are generated by artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or offensive. They do not represent the views of WireLang or Google.
• Do not rely on the Service for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice, or in any situation where a mistranslation could cause harm. The Service is not a substitute for a qualified human interpreter where one is required (legal proceedings, medical settings, emergencies, official filings).
• You are responsible for your use of generated content and for the consequences of sharing it. Applicable law may require you to disclose that content is AI-generated.
• Subject to Google's terms, WireLang claims no ownership of the translations generated from your sessions.

6Session History and Local Recordings

The desktop app can save transcripts and audio recordings of your sessions locally on your device so you can review them later. This feature is on by default and can be disabled in Settings; recordings never leave your device and are never uploaded to WireLang servers. You are responsible for the lawful handling of any recordings you keep. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7Credits, Subscriptions, and Payments

• Credits and subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Prices are shown before purchase, and exclude any applicable taxes, which may be added where required by law. Metered usage is measured in session seconds: starting a session requires a minimum grant of 60 seconds of available credit, and usage is then metered per second while the session runs. If a session ends abnormally (for example, a connection loss), up to 30 additional seconds of unreported streaming time may be charged to settle the session.
• Credit hours are denominated in service time (minutes of live translation), not in any particular underlying model or provider, and remain valid across provider or model changes under Section 8. Their validity depends on how they were obtained:
  • Purchased credit packs do not expire while the Service operates and roll over as described in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
  • Subscription-included hours granted for billing periods that begin on or after September 8, 2026 remain available while your subscription is active and for a 60-day grace period after your final billing period ends; after the grace period they may be removed from your balance. Hours granted for billing periods that began before September 8, 2026 are not affected by this rule.
  • Trial and promotional credits (credits you did not pay for) are granted at our discretion, have no cash value, may be limited, adjusted, or withdrawn at any time, and unless the offer states otherwise may expire 90 days after they are granted.
• If your account remains entirely inactive (no sign-in and no usage) for 24 consecutive months, we may close it after emailing you reasonable advance notice at your account address. Closing a dormant account does not extinguish purchased credit hours: contact us while the Service operates and we will restore your balance or handle it as the Cancellation & Refund Policy and applicable law require.
• Credits and subscriptions are personal to your account: they have no cash value except as expressly provided in the Cancellation & Refund Policy, are non-transferable, and may not be resold. Concurrent device limits for each plan are shown at purchase and enforced by the Service.
• Cancellations and refunds are handled per our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
• We may adjust pricing prospectively; changes do not affect credits you have already purchased.
• If your account is terminated for a material violation of these Terms (including metering abuse or fraud), remaining trial or promotional credits are forfeited, and refunds of purchased credits are at our discretion except where a refund is required by law or by the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Subscriptions and automatic renewal

• Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price for your plan, until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time in the app under Settings → Billing, or from your account page via Manage subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
• We send a receipt for each charge. For plans with a term of one year or longer, we send an advance reminder before the renewal.

8Service Changes and Availability

The Service depends on third-party AI technology that evolves quickly. We may add, change, or discontinue features — including the underlying translation model or provider — at any time, and we may substitute a comparable translation technology without notice, provided the core function of the Service (real-time translation) is preserved. If we permanently discontinue the paid Service as a whole, we will give reasonable advance notice where practicable and refund the unused portion of purchased credits and the unused remainder of any prepaid subscription period. Temporary interruptions, degraded performance, or regional unavailability caused by our upstream providers are addressed in Sections 3 and 11 and do not constitute discontinuation.

9License and Intellectual Property

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the WireLang™ applications for their intended purpose. All software, source code, designs, and brand assets are the property of Sevillano Consulting LLC. WireLang™, WireLang™ Live, and WireLang™ Console are trademarks of Sevillano Consulting LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law. Some WireLang components are published separately under open-source licenses (for example, repositories released under the MIT License). For that code, the applicable open-source license governs and nothing in these Terms limits the rights it grants.

10Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, abuse metering or quotas, create risk or legal exposure for us, or where required by Google's terms or applicable law. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time; contact support@wirelang.com for account deletion.

11Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT TRANSLATIONS WILL BE ACCURATE OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR AVAILABLE IN YOUR REGION. TRANSLATIONS ARE PROVIDED FOR GENERAL COMPREHENSION ONLY; ANY RELIANCE YOU PLACE ON A TRANSLATION IS AT YOUR OWN RISK, AND YOU SHOULD VERIFY IMPORTANT INFORMATION AGAINST THE ORIGINAL SOURCE OR A QUALIFIED HUMAN TRANSLATOR BEFORE ACTING ON IT. THE SERVICE DEPENDS ON THIRD-PARTY SERVICES (INCLUDING GOOGLE AI SERVICES) WHOSE AVAILABILITY AND BEHAVIOR ARE OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL. IN BYO MODE, SESSION QUALITY AND RELIABILITY ADDITIONALLY DEPEND ON THE TIER, QUOTAS, RATE LIMITS, AND CAPACITY OF YOUR OWN GOOGLE API KEY AND PROJECT.

12Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEVILLANO CONSULTING LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE — INCLUDING ANY DECISION MADE OR ACTION TAKEN (FINANCIAL, LEGAL, MEDICAL, OR OTHERWISE) IN RELIANCE ON A TRANSLATION, TRANSCRIPT, OR SUMMARY PRODUCED BY THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO WIRELANG IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

13Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless Sevillano Consulting LLC from claims arising out of your violation of these Terms, your violation of Google's terms in BYO mode, your unlawful capture or use of audio, or your use of generated content.

14Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and for material changes we will provide notice in the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15Miscellaneous

• Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cancellation & Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and WireLang regarding the Service.
• Severability: if any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
• No waiver: our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
• Assignment: you may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• Survival: Sections 5, 9, and 11–16 survive termination of your account or of these Terms.
• Force majeure: we are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including actions of upstream providers, internet or infrastructure failures, and acts of government.

16Governing Law, Disputes, and Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at support@wirelang.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve the dispute informally. Except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to sue in your own country of residence, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, USA.
