Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WireLang™ Live applications (desktop and browser extension), the WireLang™ website, and related services (together, the "Service"), operated by Sevillano Consulting LLC ("WireLang," "we," "us"). By creating an account, installing our software, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years of age or older to use the Service. The Service is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. By using the Service you represent that you are at least 18 years old.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• The Service is available only in regions where the underlying translation technology (Google's Gemini API) is available. We may restrict or suspend access from unsupported regions.

2. The Service

WireLang™ Live captures audio that is already playing on your device and produces a real-time spoken translation using Google's Gemini API ("Google AI Services"). Translations are generated by artificial intelligence. The Service can be used in two modes:

• Credits mode: translation sessions run on WireLang's own Google API access and are metered against your credit balance or subscription.
• Bring Your Own Key (BYO) mode: translation sessions run on a Google AI Studio API key that you create and provide, under your own agreement with Google.

3. Your Relationship with Google (BYO Mode)

When you use BYO mode, you access Google AI Services directly under your own Google account, and your use is governed by theGemini API Additional Terms of Service and theGenerative AI Prohibited Use Policy. In particular, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Free-tier data use: if your key belongs to a Google Cloud project without an active billing account ("free tier" / Unpaid Services), Google may use the content you submit — including the audio and text of your translation sessions — and the generated responses to improve and develop its products and machine-learning technologies, and human reviewers may read and annotate that content. Do not submit sensitive, confidential, or personal information through a free-tier key.
• Paid tier: if your key belongs to a billing-enabled Google Cloud project, Google does not use your prompts or responses to improve its products, per Google's paid-services data terms.
• European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland: Google requires that the Gemini API be accessed as a paid service in these regions. If you are located in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you may only use BYO mode with a key from a billing-enabled Google Cloud project. Free-tier keys may not be used in these regions.
• You are responsible for your Google account, your API key, and any charges Google bills you. WireLang adds no markup to and takes no responsibility for Google's pricing, quotas, or availability.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes, and in accordance with Google'sGenerative AI Prohibited Use Policy, which applies to all translation sessions. Without limiting that policy, you must not:

• Use the Service to generate, translate, or facilitate illegal content or activity, including content that exploits or harms minors, promotes violent extremism, or facilitates self-harm;
• Use the Service to harass, intimidate, defraud, impersonate, or deceive others, or to generate spam, malware, or phishing content;
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or degrade any safety filter, abuse protection, metering, rate limit, or quota mechanism of the Service or of Google AI Services;
• Attempt to reverse engineer, extract, or replicate the underlying models or any component of the Service or of Google AI Services, or use them to develop competing machine-learning models;
• Capture or translate audio that you do not have the legal right to capture. You are solely responsible for complying with the recording, wiretap, and consent laws that apply to you — including when translating calls or meetings involving other participants;
• Use the Service in clinical practice or to provide medical advice, or in any safety-critical setting;
• Resell, sublicense, or share your account, session tokens, or metered access with third parties;
• Misrepresent AI-generated translations or summaries as verbatim human-produced translation in contexts where that distinction matters (e.g., certified or sworn translation).

5. AI-Generated Content

• Translations, transcripts, and summaries produced by the Service are generated by artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or offensive. They do not represent the views of WireLang or Google.
• Do not rely on the Service for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice, or in any situation where a mistranslation could cause harm. The Service is not a substitute for a qualified human interpreter where one is required (legal proceedings, medical settings, emergencies, official filings).
• You are responsible for your use of generated content and for the consequences of sharing it. Applicable law may require you to disclose that content is AI-generated.
• Subject to Google's terms, WireLang claims no ownership of the translations generated from your sessions.

6. Session History and Local Recordings

The desktop app can save transcripts and audio recordings of your sessions locally on your device so you can review them later. This feature is on by default and can be disabled in Settings; recordings never leave your device and are never uploaded to WireLang servers. You are responsible for the lawful handling of any recordings you keep. See ourPrivacy Policy for details.

7. Credits, Subscriptions, and Payments

• Credits and subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Prices are shown before purchase. Metered usage is measured in session seconds as described in the app.
• Unused credits roll over while your account or subscription remains active, as described at purchase.
• Cancellations and refunds are handled per ourCancellation & Refund Policy.
• We may adjust pricing prospectively; changes do not affect credits you have already purchased.

8. License and Intellectual Property

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the WireLang™ applications for their intended purpose. All software, source code, designs, and brand assets are the property of Sevillano Consulting LLC. WireLang™, WireLang™ Live, and WireLang™ Console are trademarks of Sevillano Consulting LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, abuse metering or quotas, create risk or legal exposure for us, or where required by Google's terms or applicable law. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time; contactsupport@wirelang.com for account deletion.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT TRANSLATIONS WILL BE ACCURATE OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR AVAILABLE IN YOUR REGION. THE SERVICE DEPENDS ON THIRD-PARTY SERVICES (INCLUDING GOOGLE AI SERVICES) WHOSE AVAILABILITY AND BEHAVIOR ARE OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEVILLANO CONSULTING LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO WIRELANG IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

12. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless Sevillano Consulting LLC from claims arising out of your violation of these Terms, your violation of Google's terms in BYO mode, your unlawful capture or use of audio, or your use of generated content.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and for material changes we will provide notice in the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
