1Visit Sources and Confirmed Purchases

With the current "Accept All" choice, WireLang™ can remember an allowlisted visit-source category in this browser tab for up to 24 hours and associate it with your account after sign-in. We use it internally to compare sources with confirmed initial BYO Annual payments. We do not include raw URLs, arbitrary campaign text, advertising click IDs, email addresses or Gemini keys in that source record, or send this account-to-payment link to advertisers.

The attribution window is 90 days from server acceptance. This is a measurement window, not an automatic deletion deadline. Choosing "Essential Only" clears the browser candidate and removes the source from your signed-in account when the request succeeds. If offline or signed out, account withdrawal remains pending until you reconnect and sign in to that account. Minimal account references and pending-choice markers are kept locally to finish that request when browser storage is available. If a storage error is shown, keep the page open, allow storage and retry your choice. Withdrawal also removes the source from subsequent attribution reports; billing records are retained separately. Store installation labels are not discovery sources.

2What This Policy Covers

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser; localStorage is a similar browser-side storage mechanism. We group everything the site stores into two categories: essential storage the site needs to work (always on), and analytics / advertising cookies set by third-party tags (only with your consent).

3Analytics and Advertising Tags

These tags run only after you click "Accept All":

• Google Analytics 4 (tag G-4FNNPFPCNL) — measures how visitors use the site (pages viewed, traffic sources) so we can improve it. Representative cookies: _ga and _ga_* (about 2 years).
• Google Ads (tag AW-18264166371) — measures conversions from our Google ad campaigns and supports remarketing. Representative cookie: _gcl_au (about 3 months).
• Microsoft Advertising UET (tag 187268847) — measures conversions from our Microsoft/Bing ad campaigns and supports remarketing. Representative cookies: _uetsid (1 day), _uetvid (about 13 months), and MUID (about 13 months, set by Microsoft domains). The Microsoft script (bat.js) is only loaded after you accept.
• Reddit Pixel — on our English campaign landing page, measures page visits and Microsoft Store button clicks after consent. Reddit receives browser/click identifiers, page/referrer information, and event data. Store clicks are not proof of an install or purchase. Automatic email/phone matching and enhanced metadata sharing are disabled. The Reddit script does not load until you accept the banner version that names Reddit.

With "Essential Only", the Google tags run in a cookieless "consent denied" mode (Google Consent Mode v2) and the Microsoft and Reddit tags do not load.

4Essential Local Storage

The site itself stores a few values in your browser's localStorage. These are not tracking cookies, are never sent to advertisers, and stay until you clear your browser data:

• wirelang_cookie_consent — remembers your cookie-banner choice ("granted" or "denied").
• wirelang_cookie_consent_version — records which banner disclosure you accepted. An older choice does not enable the current analytics, advertising or account-attribution disclosure.
• theme — remembers your dark/light theme preference.
• wirelang_user — only if you sign in: caches your basic profile so the header can show your account.

5Changing or Withdrawing Your Choice

You can change your mind at any time: click "Cookie preferences" in the footer of any page to re-open the consent banner, then pick "Accept All" or "Essential Only". Switching to "Essential Only" updates your stored choice, tells Google to deny further storage, and reloads the page so already-loaded advertising scripts are removed.
