Your headset. Your conversations.
Translation in both directions.
Choose your languages
Switch from Live Translate to Headset mode. Tell WireLang™ which language you speak and which language the other person should hear.
Connect your microphone
The setup wizard will help you select your real microphone and install the audio component. In your chat or calling app, choose WireLang Microphone as the input. Keep your usual headset as the speaker.
Talk as you normally would
Start translation in WireLang™, then join a conversation in your usual app. The other person won’t need to install WireLang™.

Get comfortable
before the call.
Guided setup and a voice preview will help you check your devices and hear the translation before you join a conversation.
A workspace for the whole conversation
Separate “I hear” and “They hear” captions, listening volume, mute, pause, and stop will stay in the main window. We’re designing for longer calls, with conversation context carried across reconnects where supported.

Is Headset mode only for phone calls?
No. We’re designing it for conversations in voice-chat, meeting, and phone applications that can use a selectable microphone input. The goal is to work across apps through the WireLang virtual microphone, rather than require a separate integration for each app. Compatibility and incoming-audio capture still need testing for each setup.
Will it work with 3CX?
Our first customer scenario is 3CX’s web app in Chrome and Edge on Windows, using headsets. We’re also including macOS in development. Support for each phone app and operating system will be confirmed through testing; compatibility is not yet guaranteed.
Will I need an extra audio component?
Yes. The planned desktop setup uses a virtual microphone so your calling app can receive translated speech. The wizard will guide installation for Windows or macOS; administrator permission may be needed. You won’t need to change your computer’s default audio devices.
Can I hear my translated voice before a call?
Yes, that’s part of the plan. “Test my translated voice” will play the generated translation through your headphones. It is a translation preview, not voice cloning. A separate test call will confirm that the person on the other end can hear you.
How will pricing and demo access work?
Demo availability, eligibility, and pricing are still being finalized. Two-way calls require two translation streams. We’ll explain usage and any BYO-key requirements before you participate. Requesting an invitation does not reserve a place or create a paid subscription.
Is this available in the current app?
No. Headset mode is in development. The screens on this page are design previews. Live Translate remains the existing experience for translating audio you listen to.
